Photography and memory have been linked since photography’s inception. However, just like the human memory, photography has its limits. In this project, Udaipur Remembered, created at Art Junction Artist Residency in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India in 2015, I worked specifically with these ideas. These photographs serve as a visual representation of how the brain forgets details, jumbles order, and fades over time in the context of travel photography.
